Speech Room Style – What’s in Your Cart for Back to School?

I was delighted to hear that it is almost time for another AMAZING sale on teacherspayteachers.com. I have lots to buy!

BUT… of course that means that the summer is drawing to a close (so soon?!) and I’m sad to see it go.

Some of you are already prepping your classrooms. I have a few weeks left of my vacation time but I’m also starting to think about what I will need for the year ahead. I have spotted some fab products from my fellow SLP TPT sellers so I’m happy to link up with Jenna over at Speech Room News for her  “What’s in your cart?” linky to show you what I plan to buy!

Speech Room News

As a TPT seller, my cart is always bursting with clipart and this sale is no exception. I just can’t resist the latest characters from the talented TPT artists.

This sale I am on the lookout for illustrations that I can use in my new packet of Interactive Notebooks for Language Students. Ever since I released my Articulation Notebook Value Bundle you have been asking me to make a language version and I promise it is coming (in just a few weeks!) but I may need to buy just a few more packets of clipart first!

I’m excited to use this packet!. I actually bought it last week to get it prepped and ready. It is from Shannon over at Speechy Musings and the packet contains interactive visuals to use with games such as Jeepers Peepers or Hedbanz (my all time favorite therapy game!) You can read more about it here on her blog. It is such a clever idea!

My next pick is from the host of today’s linky. Jenna makes some great book companions and her latest is no exception. I just LOVE the Elmer the Elephant series (the original is a favorite in our house!) and I am very tempted to pick up this companion packet for back to school.

I know many of you have already found our superhero classroom decor and I’m looking forward to seeing photos of some “Super Speech Rooms” here on Speech Room Style if you send them in.

In case you haven’t found them yet, make sure you download our two Superhero themed FREEBIES – I have created an “All about me”  worksheet for the first day of school and some Speech Room Reward Tokens.

Whilst we are on the topic of Superheros, make sure you have checked out (and entered) our Superhero Classroom Pin to Win here on the blog. There is a prize worth $250 up for grabs so don’t miss out!

The sale starts Monday August 4th so you have plenty of time to do a little browsing and make some additions to your cart. When you do finally check out though, remember to use the promo code below to get the maximum sale discount available.

Happy Shopping!

  1. We have a “Ready To Learn” chart that I use but I LOVE the clothes pin idea rather than a photo with a piece of tape on back so much more! Thanks for sharing!
